How Much Is a Trillion?
Let's break it down into smaller numbers first.
One Million = 1,000,000
Everyone knows that a million is ten hundred thousand, at one time not that long ago that was an enormous amount of money, now sports figures and pop stars get paid that several times over in a year.
One Billion = 1,000,000,000
Now a billion comes out to one thousand million, that's getting into some serious zeros.
One Trillion = 1,000,000,000,000
Yes, that's 13 decimal places or one billion multiplied by one thousand.

Our national debt is estimated to currently be 13 trillion or a bit over 10 trillion more than we have, so that make for the 10,000,000,000,000 deficit that we are sending down the line to our grandkids and their grandkids if we don't put a stop to this nonsense approach to the spending frenzy that Washington has gotten into the habit of doing so freely with money they don't have and can never repay. Are we so stupid and/or blind as to let this continue to happen because of politicians forcing us into socialism through the purchase of their power by the recipients of all these give away programs that are putting us so deep in debt? We must take our government back by electing men and women with fiscally sound policies and stop being the open piggy bank to the world.
